FAQs

Is smoking allowed at the inn?

For the enjoyment of all our guests, smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property. Evidence of smoking in the room will result in a $250 extra cleaning fee. This includes cigarettes, cigars, vaping, e-cigarettes, and any non-tobacco products.

What time is check-in / check-out?

Your room will be available beginning at 4 pm local time. Guests must be checked out by 11 am on the day of their departure.

Is breakfast included?

Currently, we do not offer breakfast options. However, there are several close options that are absolutely delicious: Our favorites are Maple Street, Kookaburra for good local coffee, The Roosevelt Room (candied bacon!), Mary’s Harborside Cafe, Ancient City Brunch Bar, Blue Hen, and Starbucks at the Casa Monica for a quick snack.

What is your reservation and cancellation policy?

Reservations are confirmed when PAID IN FULL.  A security deposit hold in the amount of $150 will be charged to the payment method on file and will be released 2-3 business days after the stay is completed. 

Credit cards that are declined will not result in confirmed reservations. 

Discounted Reservations must be paid in full at the time the reservation is made and are non-refundable.

Reservations cancelled within 7-21 days of the arrival date will be charged the remainder of the balance for that reservation. There is a 3% fee on the total reservation to cancel. This is what we are charged by the credit card processor. This charge, once initiated, is non-refundable.

Early departures will not be prorated.

What happens if I need to depart early?

If your stay is cut early due to an issue at the hotel, we will definitely work with you. However, if you must leave early due to personal reasons, then we will have to charge the entire length of the reserved stay. This is due to those days not being able to be rebooked. 

Will my room be serviced during my stay?

We value your privacy during your stay with us. For this reason, your room will NOT be serviced during your stay. Should you need items or if the room needs attention, please contact us via phone, text, or chat to make arrangements. Our hotel is under new ownership and is currently working as a hybrid of contactless check-in. You may also see us doing minor cleaning of the common areas and restocking of the coffee bar during your stay.

Do you allow pets on the property?

We do not allow pets at this time. Due to the house being a shared space with other guests, we can only accommodate trained service animals which must accompany their owner at all times. 

Are children allowed to stay?

Our hotel mainly serves as a quiet, romantic getaway for couples or those on business. For these reasons, we do not allow children under 14 to stay. 

Can I park a vehicle?

We offer FREE garage parking just minutes from the Inn. Keycards will be on the back of your door at check-in. We have a 15-minute loading and unloading zone to the left of the house. This is a shared space with our neighbors, so please be considerate. There is still on-street parking on the road in front of the hotel, if available. During NIGHTS OF LIGHTS we do not guarantee free parking. The garage fills up fast and so does street parking. We suggest you come early to find a space and DO NOT move your vehicle once you arrive. 

Most things are within walking distance to us and there are several options for reasonable transportation around the city.  *Do not park where the curbs are painted yellow. Street parking is never guaranteed; its first come, first served. Large and high-profile vehicles (i.e. camper vans) may contact the garage at (904) 484-5160 to park in their designated lot, also just a few minutes’ walk from the Inn.

Are there booking restrictions?

Yes. We have a two-night minimum on weekends and holidays. Pricing is subject to change according to traveler demand.
