Built in 1895, Casa de Teo has an extensive history. It is located in the Flagler Model Land Company subdivision founded by Henry Flagler, president of the Florida East Coast Railroad. The houses in Flagler Model Land Company were owned by some of the city’s most prestigious colonial residents. The home itself has been used as a primary residence, Flagler student housing, and now an Inn.

What began as a dream of owning a boutique inn blossomed into reality when we discovered a hidden gem tucked in the heart of St. Augustine’s Historic District. From the moment we stepped through the door at 2 Mulvey Street, we felt an undeniable energy – a warmth, a charm, and a sense of purpose that aligned perfectly with our vision of a new beginning. As a husband-and-wife team raising a lively brood of boys – both born to us and chosen through love – we are thrilled to breathe new life into this charming inn while honoring the beauty and spirit lovingly cultivated by its previous owners.
